March 28th to April 3rd – Metal to folk rock, Sweetwater has your original live music needs filled

Greetings! We kick off the local music shows Friday with a killer lineup.  Sweetwater Showdown finalist Subdivisions return with friends Eyes of Torment and newcomers Hired Guns for a brutal display of progressive metal.  We move to the other end of the rock spectrum Saturday evening, as Sweetwater regulars Drew Kohl and Woody Robbins bring another diverse night of all-original acoustic music, with influences ranging from Bob Dylan to Jack Johnson.  Afterwards, soulful three-piece Johnny Awesome rocks the stage.

Tuesday and Wednesday night, Mr. Smokey will be debuting the official karaoke version of his parody song “Lips On My A-Hole”, so now you, too, can sing this timeless piece of low-brow trash.  I will also be running sound Thursday night (Mr. Broody has gone huntin’), so come out for some Open Mic funk with myself and Two Man Banned.

Thanks, I’ll catch ya at your next Sweetwater visit.  Or maybe at the grocery store, who knows?
